FedEx in Talks to Buy French Shipping Firm

FedEx Corp. said Tuesday that it is in discussions to potentially acquire Tatex, a French express transportation company.

Tatex, which has more than 1,000 employees, covers all of France and carries more than 19 million parcels each year, FedEx said in a statement.

Earlier this month, FedEx agreed to acquire Polish courier Opek Sp.z o.o.
