FleetCor Announces Two Acquisitions
FleetCor Technologies Inc., a Norcross, Ga.-based provider of fuel cards and workforce payment systems, said it acquired NexTraq, a provider of fleet telematics services, from private equity firm Francisco Partners.
Chairman Ron Clarke said NexTraq, based in Atlanta, serves many of the same clients as FleetCor with its fuel card.
“This represents a big cross-marketing opportunity for us to deepen our existing client relationships and generate more profit per client,” he said.
FleetCor also announced the purchase of Epyx, a company that provides computer services to about 9,000 service garages in the United Kingdom, from HgCapital and management.
Terms of both transactions were not disclosed.
