FleetPride Inc. announced it acquired the assets of Auto Masters Fleet Services, which is based in Jacksonville, Fla., and which has a second location in Tampa.
“As we continue building capabilities and solutions for our customers, Auto Masters Fleet Services expands our footprint of FleetPride Service Centers into Florida for the first time,” Mike Harris, FleetPride senior vice president of sales and operations, said in a release.
Auto Masters, a 30-year-old company, has heavy-duty customers throughout Florida and southern Georgia, including on-site maintenance and full-service mobile units.
Its owner, David Stringfield, will join FleetPride and serve as general manager of the two centers.
Headquartered in Irving, Texas, FleetPride said it is the nation’s largest distributor of truck and trailer parts and service in the independent heavy-duty aftermarket. — Transport Topics
