The award is given to ATA state vice presidents who have gone above and beyond in advancing the goals of the trucking industry and ATA. It is named for Rocque Dameo, longtime New Jersey ATA state vice president. The recognition comes with a $5,000 donation to the winner’s state association.
“Ryan is a perfect illustration of the next generation of the trucking industry,” ATA Chief Commercial Officer Mario Grande said. “A graduate of the LEAD ATA program, he’s a forward thinker, an energetic ATA state vice president, a member of the Florida Trucking Association’s board of directors and he was instrumental in the creation of FTA 2.0, the state association’s leadership program. With leaders like Ryan, our industry is in good hands.”
