It was mostly sunny on Feb. 4 in Boston, the weather reflecting the mood of area sports fans the day after the New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 in Super Bowl LIII.

The nice weather also got baseball fans thinking ahead, as Truck Day commenced at Fenway Park and #TruckDay was trending on Twitter. The World Champion Red Sox's equipment truck loaded up around 7 a.m. and departed for spring training facilities in Fort Myers, Fla., around noon.

Milford, Mass., native Al Hartz drove the truck for the 21st consecutive year, the team said.

The moving day event started in 2003.

JetBlue, the team's official airline, has sponsored the event since 2010. Moving services for the 1,480-mile trip were provided by New England Household Moving & Storage.

Others in the industry wanted to get in on the act.

Truck Day isn't just for Boston.

Feb. 4 also was Truck Day for the Washington Nationals, who are heading to spring training in West Palm Beach, Fla.

In Philadelphia, new partner Old Dominion Freight Line is set to move the Phillies' equipment to Clearwater, Fla., in the Grapefruit League on Feb. 8.

ODFL loaded the equipment for the Kansas City Royals on Jan. 31 to move it to Surprise, Ariz. The less-than-truckload carrier also partners with the Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Angels and New York Mets for their spring training sendoffs.

The Chicago Cubs loaded up on Feb. 1 for the Cactus League move to Mesa, Ariz.

Across town, the White Sox loaded up for the trip to Glendale, Ariz.

In Cleveland, the Indians also packed up Feb. 1 to move to Goodyear, Ariz.

The San Diego Padres on Jan. 31 headed to Peoria, Ariz.

In Baltimore, the Orioles migrated south to Sarasota, Fla.

The Texas Rangers headed to Surprise, Ariz.

The Tampa Bay Rays set out for Port Charlotte, Fla.

And the Los Angeles Angels set out for Tempe, Ariz.
