Third-party logistics provider Beavex Inc. has hired Terry Carter as CEO, replacing Rich Boland, who resigned after three years in the top job.
Most recently, Carter was CEO at Graebel Van Lines before it abruptly closed its doors in March. He also worked at FedEx Ground, DHL and Brown Integrated Logistics.
“I am honored to join the Beavex team at this exciting time,” Carter said in a statement. “Much progress has been made in recent years, and Beavex has a highly experienced and dedicated management team that is focused on attractive end markets with strong growth potential.
“Our recently developed technology platform enables us to both deliver best-in-class logistics solutions while providing customer-facing analytics and transparency that enables them to enhance their own operations. Additionally, our recent financing positions the company to support expanded services to our existing customers as well as new customers.”
Atlanta-based Beavex is a non-asset-based 3PL primarily serving the clinical lab, pharmaceutical and financial service industries with same-day delivery and last-mile logistics.
