COLUMBUS, Ohio – Members of The Maintenance Council of American Trucking Associations heard about a way to reduce emissions from diesel exhaust – with fuel to which water has been added.
It was one of three new products introduced at a special session of TMC’s meeting Oct. 16-19. The New Products session is a regular feature of TMC meetings. While the organization does not endorse products, it gives suppliers an opportunity to present their products and document their claims.
TMC does not conduct product testing.
PuriNox, a product of the Lubrizol Corp., Wickliffe, Ohio, is a blend of 80% No. 2 diesel, 20% water and a proprietary additive.
