Gas Drops 9¢ to $3 a Gallon, Lundberg Says

The average price of regular gasoline fell by about 9 cents in the past three weeks, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.
 
The price of regular fell to $3 a gallon, while mid-grade was $3.12 and premium was $3.24, oil analyst Trilby Lundberg said in her latest survey of filling stations, released twice a month.

The nation’s lowest price was in Tulsa, Okla., at $2.74, while the highest was in San Francisco, $3.42, the survey reported.

The Energy Department releases its weekly survey of diesel and gasoline prices Monday afternoon.
