Gas Rises Nearly 13 Cents in Two Weeks, Lundberg Says

The average price of regular gasoline jumped 12.9 cents in the past two weeks, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.

Regular gasoline rose to $3.09 a gallon, the twice-monthly survey said. Mid-grade was $3.21 and premium was $3.32 a gallon, oil industry analyst Trilby Lundberg said.

The lowest average gas price was in Tucson, Ariz., at $2.91 a gallon, while the highest was in San Francisco at $3.48, the Lundberg Survey said.

The Department of Energy is set to release its weekly fuel survey later today.
