Gasoline Price Drops 3.6¢ to $2.65 a Gallon

The national average price of regular gasoline fell 3.64 cents in the two weeks ended Friday, $2.65 a gallon, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of fuel prices

Mid-grade averaged $2.78 and premium $2.89 a gallon, analyst Trilby Lundberg said in her twice-monthly survey of filling stations, released Sunday.

The lowest price was in Cheyenne, Wyo., at $2.38 a gallon. Anchorage, Alaska, had the highest at $3.30.

The Department of Energy will release its weekly national averages of diesel and gasoline Monday afternoon in Washington.
