Gasoline Slips 4¢ to $3.43, Lundberg Says

Oil Near Three-Month High at $94.50 a Barrel

Gasoline’s national average price fell 4 cents over the two weeks to an average $3.43 a gallon, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.

Diesel, moving in the opposite direction in recent weeks, rose 4 cents to $3.93 a gallon, analyst Trilby Lundberg said in her twice-monthly survey.

Mid-grade gasoline fell 3 cents to $3.59 and premium declined 4 cents $3.70, Lundberg said.

Albuquerque, N.M., had the lowest price of cities surveyed, with an average price of $3.06, while Los Angeles was the highest, at $3.83.



Crude oil, meanwhile, rose almost 30 cents in pre-market trading to near more than $94.50 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, close to a three-month high, Bloomberg reported.

The Department of Energy will release its weekly survey of diesel and gasoline prices Monday afternoon in Washington.
