Hirschbach Motor Lines announced June 22 that it is expanding with the acquisition of Lessors Inc.
Lessors is a full-service refrigerated motor carrier based out of Eagan, Minn.
Hirschbach is a refrigerated and temperature-controlled trucking company based out of Dubuque, Iowa. Transport Capital Partners helped facilitate the acquisition.
“We’re very excited to welcome the Lessors drivers and most of their mechanics and office staff to the Hirschbach family,” Hirschbach CEO Brad Pinchuk said in a statement. “It’s an organization I’ve admired for decades. Lessors has a reputation of providing a high level of service to their customers, an outstanding safety record, low driver turnover and running very nice equipment, which is meticulously maintained.”
Hirschbach said in the announcement that its current driver base of 2,200 drivers is expected to top 2,400 after integrating the drivers from Lessors.
“We’re honored that they’ve entrusted Hirschbach to take care of their hardworking team,” Pinchuk said. “Our customers on both our OTR and Dedicated divisions are asking us for more capacity; the Lessors acquisition will allow us to fill many of those requests.”
