Hyliion Names Jose Oxholm Chief Compliance Officer

Hyliion Holdings Corp., a supplier of electrified powertrain solutions for Class 8 vehicles, has appointed Jose Oxholm chief compliance officer and general counsel.
Most recently, Oxholm was chief compliance officer for Meritor Inc.
“Jose is a seasoned leader whose deep industry experience will be a valuable asset as we continue to grow and make progress toward our commercialization strategy,” Hyliion founder and CEO Thomas Healy said in a release. “He is an accomplished expert in the legal, compliance and ethics fields.”

Hyliion, founded in 2015, went public Oct. 2.
The company’s market capitalization stood at $1.1 billion on the first day of trading.
Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Hyliion’s products include a hybrid electric axle and longhaul, fully electric powertrain, the Hypertruck Electric Range Extender. Its goal is transforming the commercial transportation industry’s environmental impact at scale. — Transport Topics
