Idle Free Systems has been acquired by Phillips & Temro Industries, a Minnesota-based supplier of heating and cooling equipment for heavy-duty trucks. Terms were not disclosed.
Idle Free supplies auxiliary power units for over-the-road, day cab and work trucks.
Idle Free CEO Robert Hopton told Transport Topics the acquisition will allow PTI to add auxiliary power units to its product line.
