Infinity Transportation Logistics has changed its name to Infinity Intermodal, the company announced Feb. 19.
Infinity Intermodal said the change was made to better reflect its asset-based and full truckload operations. The company also has updated its logo and marketing materials to reinforce its new name and asset-based, temperature-controlled and full truckload identity.
The Kansas City, Mo.-based company also noted the change follows the increasing size of its refrigerated intermodal container fleet this past year. It also comes as Infinity Intermodal has expanded its staff and expanded operations to meet growing demand. That includes new 53-foot temp-controlled intermodal containers.
Infinity Intermodal operates from the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest and the East Coast. Its focus is moving frozen foods, fresh produce and other refrigerated food and beverages from Washington state and Oregon to the Midwest and East Coast, with return service to Washington and Oregon. — Transport Topics
