InstiCo Express Acquires Trucking Assets
InstiCo Express, the truckload unit of third-party logistics company InstiCo Freight Management Inc., has acquired trucking assets from Morrison Road Transportation to expand the buyer’s service options and network.
Terms of the acquisition by InstiCo, based in Grapevine, Texas, weren’t disclosed in a company statement. After the acquisition, InstiCo Express is running dedicated and over-the-road services with 42 tractors and 73 trailers.
“The acquisition of drivers and customer contracts advances the company’s overall strategy for its dedicated fleet, increases market share, and diversifies the company’s customer portfolio,” said John Hernando, CEO of InstiCo Freight Management.
The company also is licensed to provide freight brokerage and forwarding services.
