Intermec Reports Fourth-Quarter Loss

Supply chain technology firm Intermec Inc. reported a fourth-quarter loss of $21.6 million, or 36 cents per share, compared to a profit of $7.9 million, or 13 cents, a year ago.

Revenue rose 18% to $237 million, from $200 million a year ago, the company said in a statement.

For the full 2011 year, Intermec lost $30.8 million, or 51 cents a share, compared with a loss of $5.3 million, or 9 cents, in 2010.

Revenue for the year climbed 25% to $848 million.
