Intermodal Expo to Be Held Bianually

The International Intermodal Expo will be held on a biannual basis, the organizers of the trade show announced.

The 2000 Expo, scheduled for April 11 to 13 in Atlanta, will be followed up in 2002, the Georgia Freight Bureau and the Intermodal Association of North America announced Dec. 22. The groups are the sponsors of the show, which was held annually in the past.

The theme of the 2000 show will be “Can the Intermodal System Handle Growth.”

The trade show will include pavilions devoted to bulk transfer and international organizations.
