Intermodal Expo to Be Held Every 2 Years, Not Annually

ATLANTA — Declining attendance and exhibitor participation is forcing changes in the International Intermodal Expo sponsored by the Georgia Freight Bureau and the Intermodal Association of North America.

The event, which has been an annual feature of the intermodal community for 17 years, will become an every-other-year program, with the next Expo scheduled for 2002.

The events sponsors said the smaller attendance and show reflect consolidations in the intermodal world and elsewhere.
