Intermodal Operators, Intermediaires, Shippers Hold 3-Way Conference

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – For the Intermodal Association of North America, the coming year will be somewhat similar to the current one — at least in terms of the association’s agenda of issues to be watched.

Members of IANA met here at the Broward County Convention Center on Nov. 11-15 in joint session with the National Industrial Transportation League and the Transportation Intermediaries Association.

NITL’s annual trade show, this year called TransComp 2000, was a part of the sessions.

“It was the first time we have met jointly with these groups,” said Joni Casey, president of IANA, “and I think it was a good experience.”
