The appointment of John P. Chandler as chief executive officer of Intrenet Inc. on May 1 marked the end of a yearlong process to identify and install new top management at the transportation holding company based in Milford, Ohio.

Chandler takes the helm from Eric C. Jackson, a Salt Lake City truck dealer and board member, who took on the job as interim CEO after the departure of John P. Delavan in June.

Jackson will continue to serve as chairman, replacing fellow director and major stockholder Edwin H. “Ned” Morgans, who will retain his seat on the board.
