IT-Logistics Council Struggles With Its Options

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The Information Technology and Logistics Council, unable to decide among three less-than-ideal options about its future, chose to go back to the drawing board.

The three options were to merge with American Trucking Associations’ National Accounting and Finance Council; join an existing organization, such as the Voluntary Industrial Classifications Standards Uniform Code Council; or go independent.

During the ITLC annual meeting, May 21-24, the board of directors split over which way to take the council, according to Phil Nardomarino, the new chairman of ITLC and applications manager for information services with United Parcel Service.
