Iteris Inc., which provides traffic management services, said its fiscal second-quarter net income rose from a year ago, and revenue gained 10%.
Net income for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose to $661,000 from $550,000 while per-share income held at 2 cents.
Revenue rose to $17 million, led by a 22% jump in its roadway-sensors revenue, to $8.8 million, on strong demand in the traffic video detection market.
Operating income rose to $1 million from $840,000 in the same period last year, the Santa Ana, Calif.-based company said in a statement.
