Jacobson Cos., a Des Moines, Iowa-based logistics company, received approval for a $250,000 loan from the Iowa Economic Development Authority to move its headquarters to a western Des Moines suburb, the Associated Press reported.
The move to Clive, is expected to cost $2.3 million, including rent for three years and money to buy computer hardware, software, furniture and fixtures, AP reported.
The warehouses, freight management and transportation-services company will keep its facility in Des Moines and expects to move in the fourth quarter.
Jacobson Cos. is ranked No. 24 on the Transport Topics Top 50 list of largest logistics companies in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
