J.B. Hunt Debuts Transportation Management Software
J.B. Hunt Transport Inc. debuted a transportation management software system it says is able to streamline shipment management across multiple transit types.
J.B. Hunt 360 gives users access to published rates, can request pricing for new shipping lanes and use real-time load tracking.
“It’s about providing 360-degree visibility and making transportation management easy and accessible from anywhere,” Shelley Simpson, J.B. Hunt’s chief marketing officer, said in a statement.
“Our customers need options, resources and a smart solution for their shipping needs,” Simpson said.
J.B. Hunt 360 also is able to list scheduled appointments, intermediate stops and shipments’ line items with quantity and weight.
The software is available as an app in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
Lowell, Arkansas based J.B. Hunt ranks No. 3 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
