McLeod Offers New Versions of Products

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – McLeod Software unveiled the latest versions of LoadMaster and PowerBroker.

Version 12.0 of both products feature multiple new functions, including FlowLogix and a customer relationship management tool.

Officially rolled out at the company’s user conference here Sept. 16, McLeod said FlowLogix “may be the most significant part of the new product introductions.” The company said it allows customers to create workflows to ease automated business processes.

McLeod said the customer relationship management program offers companies an opportunity to better plan, record and track sales activities within LoadMaster and PowerBroker platforms.

Also during the user conference, the Birmingham, Ala.-based company outlined enhancements for many of its other offerings, such as the Container module for intermodal operations and its mobile applications.

At the same time, companies including PeopleNet Communications Corp., Rand McNally and Omnitracs Inc. announced new integration capabilities with McLeod’s existing products.
