Minimizer Expands Greaseless Product Lineup

Aftermarket supplier Minimizer developed a greaseless insert-style slick plate for trucks that have Holland fifth wheels with built-in lube plate inserts, Minimizer said.

These models include the Holland FWAL, FW31 and FW33 fifth wheels.

Holland is a brand of component supplier SAF-Holland.

The new plate means truck drivers and fleets no longer have to grease the fifth wheel’s top plate, according to Minimizer. The product joins the 5th Wheel Slick Plate, Trailer Slick Plate and Slick Disk as Minimizer products designed to “lose the grease.”

Blooming Prairie, Minn.-based Minimizer is a unit of Kruckeberg Industries.
