Myers, a former airline executive, joined Yellow in April 1996 and restructured the company by acquiring non-union, regional less-than-truckload carriers and adding premium services offered by Yellow Freight, its unionized long-haul LTL carrier.

Zollars also joined Yellow in 1996 and became of board member three years later. He had a 24-year career at Eastman Kodak Co. and a stint as senior vice president of Ryder Integrated Logistics.
