Navistar to Release Financials Soon

Company Unit Wins $623 Mln. Military Contract

Navistar International Corp. said it will file financial results for the 2005 fiscal year within four months.

The parent of International Truck and Engine Corp. said it will also release 2003 and 2004 results in that timeframe, and release 2006 financials early next year.

The release will break a two-year delay in the company’s financial reporting. The delays caused the company to be delisted by the New York Stock Exchange in February.

Separately, Navistar unit International Military and Government LLC won a $623.1 million U.S. Marine Corps contract to provide 1,200 armored vehicles designed to protect U.S. forces from roadside bombs and other attacks, Reuter reported.
