Navistar International Corp. and Ford Motor Co. said they have settled litigation and ended a diesel-engine supply agreement.

The two will end their diesel engine supply agreement at the end of this year, but will continue to collaborate on initiatives including their existing Blue Diamond Truck and Parts joint ventures, Navistar said late Tuesday.

The companies will still work together in a joint venture that sells Ford F-650 and F-750 medium duty trucks, Navistar said.

Navistar makes International brand trucks.
