NFI Acquires 3PL World Warehouse and Distribution

NFI Industries said it acquired World Warehouse and Distribution, a Champlain, N.Y., third-party logistics and warehousing firm. Terms were not disclosed.

World Warehouse now will operate as part of NFI’s warehousing and distribution division, Cherry Hill, N.J.-based NFI said in a statement.

“This acquisition expands NFI’s network of third-party logistics and warehouse services and further enhances our cross border capacity and capabilities,” NFI’s CEO Sidney Brown said in a statement.

Kevin O’Shea, president of World Warehouse, will remain with the company and retain his title, NFI said.

NFI, which offers truckload, warehousing and other logistics services and had about $900 million in revenue last year, is ranked No. 26 is ranked on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
