Nikola Announces ENGS to Finance Trucks, Dealer Activities

Nikola Corp. and ENGS Commercial Finance Co., a member of Mitsubishi HC Capital Group, announced an agreement to facilitate sales of Class 8 Nikola Tre battery-electric vehicles and Nikola Tre hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicles.
Working directly through the Nikola dealer network, ENGS will offer a broad range of financial solutions to Nikola customers, including the purchase of Nikola vehicles, charging assets and infrastructure requirements, according to the Phoenix-based truck maker.
ENGS will also offer floor plan financing solutions to the dealers, parts and service financing and other related capital requirements, Nikola noted.

Start of production of the Tre BEVs began March 21 at Nikola’s Coolidge, Ariz., manufacturing facility. The Nikola Tre FCEV deliveries are anticipated in 2023.
