Middle-market infrastructure investment firm Nova Infrastructure announced that Harbor Logistics, one of Nova’s existing portfolio companies, acquired ATS Logistics Inc., a provider of transportation and warehousing services in Charleston, S.C.
Terms were not disclosed.
ATS will operate as part of the growing Harbor Logistics platform, which made its first investment in the Charleston transportation and logistics sector in 2021, according to New York-based Nova.
“ATS is an essential component of the Port of Charleston’s supply chain and import/export activity,” Allison Kingsley, founder and partner of Nova Infrastructure, said in a release. “Combining the talented ATS team with Harbor Logistics brings additional operating expertise and complementary customer relationships to a strategically located port market with structural tailwinds.”
Harbor Logistics also owns Premier Logistics, which provides warehousing, storage, and transportation with truck and rail service in Charleston. — Transport Topics
