Brian Baumeister from the Buffalo, N.Y., suburb of Bowmansville may have flown into New York City, but he had the option to drive home in a brand new GMC Jimmy sport utility vehicle.
Baumeister, a driver for AmeriPride Services Inc., won the SUV after earning the top score and being named Delivery Driver of the Year in the inaugural Race to Deliver, a national competition for parcel delivery drivers that was held Sept. 10-11.
The three drivers also won seven-day Caribbean cruises.
