Odyssey Logistics & Technology Acquires RPM Consolidated Services

Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corp. acquired full-service logistics and warehousing provider RPM Consolidated Services Inc., the Danbury, Conn.-based company announced Jan. 30.

Odyssey focuses on innovative technologies and boasts a freight network exceeding $3 billion globally. The acquisition is intended to boost its domestic freight-forwarding services and expand its global multimodal division.

“This is a highly accretive transaction that complements our acquisition of AFF Global Logistics in 2018,” Odyssey CEO Bob Shellman said in a statement. “We’ve long respected the supply chain network built by RPM as we continue to expand our domestic freight-forwarding services.”

Odyssey specializes in global logistics and transportation services, including intermodal, trucking, bulk container, global forwarding and transportation management. RPM will add to that portfolio with its door-to-door ocean, ground and airfreight forwarding services.

RPM also operates in Hawaii and Puerto Rico, with extended services to Alaska, Guam and the Caribbean. The company also upholds safety and environmental standards as a certified SmartWay Transport Partner. RPM is based in Fullerton, Calif.
