Oil Closes Week at Two-Month Low Under $70 a Barrel

Oil prices fell to the lowest level since Oct. 7 Friday, the eighth day of falling prices, Bloomberg reported.

Crude futures for January delivery fell 67 cents to %69.87 a barrel on the New York Stock Exchangte, Bloomberg said.

Friday marked the eighth day in which the price of oil fell, the longest span of price decreases in six years.

Oil prices have generally been falling in the past few months off a 12-month high of $81.37, set on Oct. 21.
