Oshkosh CEO to Retire at End of Year

Specialty truck maker Oshkosh Corp. said Wednesday that CEO Bob Bohn will retire at the end of this year and be succeeded by Charles Szews, the company’s president and chief operating officer.

Bohn, who has been CEO for 13 years, is also the company’s chairman, a position from which he will retire Feb. 1, Oshkosh said.

Szews, who has worked for Oshkosh since 1996, will continue to be president after taking the CEO title Jan. 1. Richard Donnelly, a board member since 2001, will become chairman when Bohn retires.

Under Bohn’s leadership, Oshkosh turned “from a $400 million Midwest company into a multi-billion dollar international corporation and a Fortune 350 company,” the company said in a statement.
