Oshkosh Corp. said Tuesday its fiscal fourth-quarter profit slipped from a year ago as sales of military and emergency vehicles sales slowed.
The specialty truck maker’s net income fell to $37.5 million, or 41 cents per share, from $116.6 million, or $1.28, a year ago.
Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose slightly to $2.12 billion, Oshkosh said in a statement.
Commercial segment sales 17% to $135.2 million, almost entirely attributable to lower demand for refuse collection vehicles.
Full-year net income declined to $273.4 million, or $2.99 per share, from $790 million, or $8.69. Full fiscal-year sales fell to $7.58billion, from $9.84 billion a year earlier.
