Paccar Parts Participates in Hiring Our Heroes

Paccar Parts reaffirmed its commitment to supporting veterans by participating in the Hiring Our Heroes program.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation hosts the program to help veterans, transitioning service members and military spouses find meaningful employment. Paccar Parts hosted five program fellows as a corporate fellowship employer in the first quarter of 2021.
“Paccar Parts understands what an HOH fellow brings to the table,” Mike Udell, sales manager at Paccar Parts and former Hiring Our Heroes fellow, said in a statement.
“We can make an immediate, positive impact on the team we work with, which often translates into enhanced team success. Paccar Parts has provided me with a second career that is much more than just a job.”

The HOH fellowship program works with participating companies to carefully match fellows who will undergo a 12-week program with on-the-job training, networking events and weekly educational sessions. Paccar Parts has hired 16 HOH participants into full-time positions since 2017.
