PacLease Expands to Australia
Paccar Leasing Co. has expanded its full-service truck rental and leasing business to Australia.
The company, also known as PacLease, will begin renting and leasing Kenworth and DAF trucks from the Kenworth DAF Melbourne dealership in Laverton, Victoria.
“Paccar Leasing is truly a global company, and our new operation in Australia is an exciting addition to our portfolio,” PacLease President Neil Vonnahme said in the May 13 announcement.
The company, which began business in the United States nearly 35 years ago, has since expanded to Canada, Mexico and Germany.
PacLease Australia is headed by Olen Hunter, who previously was the North American director of sales for PacLease since 2006.
PacLease is part of the financial services group of Bellevue, Washington-based truck and engine manufacturer Paccar Inc., which sells Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks in North America.
