Panther Offers Mobile App for Owner-Operators
Expedited carrier Panther Premium Logistics has launched a free mobile application to help its owner-operators streamline their administrative work.
The Panther Fleet Mobile App, available for iPhone and Android, allows drivers to manage shipments and status updates with their smartphones. Drivers also can send documents using their phone cameras and audit status histories on recent shipments, Panther said.
“We created this app to make business management more efficient for our owner-operators — and to substantially reduce ‘paperwork’ requirements and the use of paper materials at Panther,” said Louis Schneeberger, president of Panther Premium Logistics.
The app is available for download on Google Play and the iTunes App Store.
Panther Premium Logistics is part of ArcBest, which also is the parent company of less-than-truckload carrier ABF Freight. ArcBest, based in Fort Smith, Arkansas, ranks No. 13 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest for-hire carriers in the United States and Canada.
