Pival International Inc. announced on Aug. 21 the opening of two distribution centers, which the company said was part of a plan to become the largest warehousing and logistics company in Canada.
The location in Surrey, British Columbia, is 70,000 square feet. The Guelph, Ontario, site has 255,000 square feet, Pival officials said.
The company said it expanded its services to include a transportation management system in the transportation operations center at the Guelph location.
Pival is a supply chain management company specializing in warehousing and transportation. It offers contract distribution management and time-sensitive expedited ground and air services, truckload, less-than-truckload, intermodal, rail and heavy-haul overdimensional services. The company also has Quebec warehouse locations in Trois Rivieres, Dorval and Lachine; and Ontario locations in Oshawa, Mississauga and Cambridge. — Transport Topics
