What if there were a way to have an endless supply of diesel fuel — a supply that did not depend on the whims of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries?

The fuel that meets all those criteria is called biodiesel, which could become more attractive to engine manufacturers, oil companies and others as they face stricter federal pollution regulations in the coming years.
