Premier Trailer Leasing Buys Trailer Fleet
Premier Trailer Leasing said it has acquired certain assets of Trailer Fleet International. Terms were not disclosed.
Trailer Fleet International provides trailer rental and leasing services on the West Coast. It has nearly 3,000 trailers and has locations in Los Angeles and Rancho Cucamonga, California, Portland, Oregon, and Seattle.
With the acquisition, Premier has more than 25,000 trailers and 25 locations nationwide.
Premier is owned by private-equity firm Garrison Investment Group, which has about $3.5 billion of assets under management.
In the past three years, Premier has grown from 11,000 trailers to more than 25,000. It has invested over $200 million to acquire a broad spectrum of trailers, including specialized flatbeds and refrigerated and dry vans, and has made investments in trailer technology systems.
