Software development company QuikQ announced a technology integration with Fiscal Systems, a provider of point-of-sale systems to independent and national truckstop chains.
Franklin, Tennessee-based QuikQ said it will integrate Fiscal Systems’ point-of-sale technology with its own RFID-based fuel purchasing system, known as SmartQ and sold by Comdata Corp., so Fuel Systems’ truck-stop customers can process fuel transactions at major chains and independent locations.
Ernie Betancourt, president of QuikQ, said in a release, “The integrated technologies provide a faster and more efficient way for commercial vehicle drivers to fuel while also reducing fraudulent transactions.”
Fiscal Systems said it develops and installs automation solutions for fuel retailers, ranging from single-site to national operators.
QuikQ said it creates and develops software-based fuel transaction processing solutions for motor carriers and truck stops.
