Rail Logistics Partners with Interstate Distributor for Drayage Service

Rail Logistics and Interstate Distributor Co. on Tuesday announced a new partnership for drayage service at the Port of Quincy intermodal terminal in Washington state.

Rail Logistics’ “Cold Train” refrigerated intermodal freight service will utilize a dedicated trucking fleet from Interstate Distributor for short-haul drayage, the companies said.

Steve Lawson, president of Rail Logistics-Cold Train, said in a statement that the partnership will provide Cold Train with scalable drayage capacity to meet increasing shipment demands.

Rail Logistics’ Cold Train service transports perishable cargo between the Port of Quincy and the Chicago area.
