RevHD announced a line of severe-duty wheel seals manufactured to meet the rigors of off-road applications. It also launched a new severe-duty hubcap.

The RevHD seal offers Flex Design, a feature that allows the seal to flex during installation and when traveling off-road. The top plate acts as a solid barrier, shielding the seal against the elements and heat coming off the brakes. A tube of Seal Bond, developed by RevHD, is included in every box. The bond helps seal imperfections on the spindle shoulder and the hub bore, the Nashville, Tenn.-based company said.

RevHD offers a no-questions-asked warranty for the seals, even if equipment goes off-road. And, if the shop technician takes its free online training course, the warranty includes the brakes.

Meanwhile, RevHD’s new line of severe-duty hub caps will send an alert if the wheel end reaches temperatures above 250 degrees Fahrenheit, which indicates the potential for heat damage to the bearings, hub or spindle.

“The hub cap features spokes across the lens and utilizes thicker material for a more solid build,” National Sales Manager Brian Beathard said in a release. — Transport Topics
