Richard Ryan Named Truck Dealer of the Year
Richard Ryan, a South Carolina-based truck dealer, was named Truck Dealer of the Year by the American Truck Dealers this weekend in Phoenix.
Ryan, CEO of Carolina International Trucks in Columbia, S.C., started in the truck business as a sales trainee for International Harvester Co. in 1972.
“I’ve had a wonderful career and I’ve really loved it,” he said in a statement.
Eric K. Jorgensen, CEO of JX Enterprises in Waukesha, Wis., was named the national runner-up.
The award recognizes excellence in dealership performance, industry leadership, civic contributions and community service.
