Roadway Sets New Custom Pickup and Delivery Service

YRC Worldwide unit Roadway Express said Wednesday it has launched a new specialized pickup and delivery service.

Roadway entered into a strategic alliance with NonstopDelivery Inc. to provide customers with final-mile delivery throughout the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico, the company said.

The new service will accommodate such things as online purchases, catalog sales, custom ordered items, strip mall deliveries, urban area storefronts and fixture projects, Roadway said.

YRC Worldwide is ranked No. 4 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
