Rolling Strong launched a free version of its mobile app to support driver health and wellness, the company announced Jan. 4.

The free version provides drivers information about risk factors along with tools to manage them. That includes a complete self-health assessment along with the ability to manually log food, hydration and sleep. It also has a CDL medical exam reminder program.

“Professional truck drivers continue to face major challenges with health and wellness,” Rolling Strong President Stephen Kane said in a statement. “The free version of our app will provide a selection of the many tools we offer for gaining awareness of risk factors and managing health.”

There also are in-app purchases available for preventative screenings, coaching sessions and paid competitions. The premium version of the app with advanced tools and features also is available for a $5 monthly fee.

Rolling Strong provides health and wellness programs for transportation firms and their drivers, as well as owner-operators. The company plans on making the free version of the app a permanent offering. It is available in the Apple App Store and on Google Play for Android devices. — Transport Topics
